1.
Ironclad 02:34
31 pieces of tape to strap my mind. Form it. Hold it. The worst things that can happen time will solve. The worst thing you can say to me is nothing at all. White walls I stare upon. Waiting for the bottle to float back. No message inside only sand. Water that has casted in stone. Ironclad.
2.
Sunburn. Your face peels my vision. Turns my mouth to stone. Pull me up smash me down. Something won’t let me leave. You send me a letter with no sound. You take my freedom you burned it down. Two years was too long inside you institution. Now I’m gone. Situation? There was no situation only lies. A tale for two to tell. Slowly my love turned to hate. Confusion which one is real? It’s high noon I’ll meet you there right by ridge next to the tombstones. My mind is loaded ready for your round. Victory will be at sundown. You took me to the ridge and you shot me down. Sundown I’ll be there.
3.
Phrases once come easy but now ideas take so much time. Stagnant thoughts fill my flower beds. We’re just onlookers. Decisions once come easy now actions take so much strength. We’re just bystanders. Exhaustion chokes us strain suffocates. Please take me now back to a sandy beach. Where I can curl my toes in the hotly sand.
4.
Nonetheless 02:26
I keep my feet dug in with the chains that bound my hands. It’s them. They want me out. I tried but I can’t win. I’m searching for the solution. I found the answer. No one wants what I offer. I will keep on walking looking for open minds. Who can see that their flame burns both you and me.
